Attention N-able partners: The Taylor Business Group, Inc. is pleased to announce it is now facilitating peer-to-peer best practices groups for N-able Partners. These groups, called Business Improvement Groups or “BIGs”, are targeted at the owners or executive team members within your company and will consist only of other N-able partners. To join one of these groups or get more information give me a call Larry at (816) 737-3681 or email larry@taylorbusinessgroup.com.
As a BIG member, you will attend a day and a half annual conference where the group will discuss MSP best practices, as well as general practices involving all aspects of your business including your other service department offerings and operations, sales and admin.
The agenda for a BIG conference includes the following topics:
- Financial analysis - Members will be asked to fill out and send a confidential spreadsheet that reflects their numbers. This information is then put onto charts with the other members and our targeted benchmarks to give members a view of how the numerical performance of their business compares to others in the group and to the benchmark. All companies will be represented by a unique letter on all of the charts. Members chart letters are confidential and will not be shared.
- Special topics - There will be one or two special topics that we as a group identify to cover in these BIGs meetings. Examples of special topics can be annuity revenues, compensation plans, business systems, specialty products, pricing, sales issues, service issues, disaster recovery, managed services, manufacturer/distributor issues, etc. Members decide what they are.
- Objectives - Members will be asked to develop company/departmental fiscal year objectives and activities and present them to the group. Then at each conference thereafter, members will be presenting their success in implementing those objectives and activities.
- Board/Executive presentation - Two members at each conference will be asked to present their numbers to the rest of the group as though they were presenting to a board of directors or executive committee. This is a very positive experience garnering ideas from other members on how to better improve your business.
- Roundtable discussion - With the time remaining, we entertain a general roundtable discussion on any topic that a member would like to receive input from the rest of the group on a topic that may not have been covered in the course of the conference.
There has been a very high level of interest in N-able Partners wanting to join one of these groups. If you are interested, please reach out to me at (816) 737-3681 or email larry@taylorbusinessgroup.com.
